Replace Blue Ox Lubricating Washers
« on: July 11, 2014, 01:04:44 pm »
My Blue Ox Aladdin tow bar is six years old and the lubricating washers were starting to show wear so I decided to replace them.  I was able to pick up a washer replacement kit at the Tampa RV show for $8.00. Finally got around to replacing all the washers yesterday .  Took about 2 hours  and it looks like it was well worth the time and effort.  Some of the washers were less than 1/16" thick.

Here is a link that shows what is included in the kit (84-0089 Tow Bar Washer Replacement Kit):

Here is a link to an instructional Video on how to install the replacement washers.

Good info, Barry.  2o2
I'll be attending the Irv2 gathering in Myrtle Beach and have the Blue Ox team perform any needed service on my 7 year old Aventa II. The cost is published as $30.00, which is a great deal.  :)(:
