Title: Some Friendly Advise For The Holidays
Post by: ron.dittmer on December 13, 2012, 11:32:05 am
This time of year, police set up roadblocks with some regularity, checking for drunk drivers.  As you well know, some people have had brushes with the law on their way home from a social gathering.  I would like to share our personal experience with this matter.

Last weekend we were out for the evening with friends.  We enjoyed a few cocktails and also some good wine with dinner.  Concerned we may have been slightly over the limit, we followed the advise we all hear about, and took a cab home.  Sure enough we passed a police roadblock but since it was a cab, they simply waved it past.  We arrived home safely without incident.  Given our level of intoxication, we donít recall where we got the cab nor what to do with it parked in our garage.

Be careful this holiday season.

 roflol Funnnny!

Ron.. as you and maybe other know that Wisconsin is noted for setting up roadblocks and speed traps.....

Well, the other night, when out with friends, and it was their turn to drive, his wife, who doesn't drink much, drove us back into town. But on the way a flashing light behind us, made her pull off and stop.  Officer asked why she was driving slow... Was it because of the darkness and the deer threat?   She said yes, and then let her go.  Apparently he thought she was holding up traffic on a friday nite. But everyone knows the traffic is north bound and we were going south bound.  (she was traveling about 50mph in a 55 posted 2 lane road)   I thought I would share this with you guys as driving too slow in Wisconsin could also meet you up with the local county also.

Denny

I couldn't resist sharing that one.  An old co-worker sent it to me.  It had me in an embarrassing laughter at the office early this morning.  I am glad you all found it entertaining as well.

I wonder if it will get me some "Helpful" ratings.   roflol
