At the Irish wedding reception the DJ yelled:

"Would all married men please stand next to the one person who has made your life worth living."

The bartender was almost crushed to death.

Do you know why a can of B&M Baked Beans contains 239 beans?

Because if you added one more they would be "two farty".

Ron, just courious as a real estate person. Did you have the house built for the PC, or pick the PC to fit the house?

If only there were a good, reliable, fiscally-economical full-down standard 4x4 diesel available us!

The 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee will be offered with a diesel. Not sure if any of the other models will get the diesel. That wont be a cheep vehicle though. This new Grand Cherokee has gotten very good reviews. Autoweek finished their 1 year long term road test and gave it really high marks. This version of the Grand Cherokee was developed when MB owned the brand.

Has anyone done a mount that lowers the TV? Instead of a swivel mount that goes side to side, a vertical one that would have the TV in the normal stowed position for travel but would drop it about 6 inches when you want to watch it.

In my reading I have come across many intelligent, knowledgeable people on both sides of the Ford v. Sprinter debate.  They all make good points and it isn't clear to me that one is obviously better than the other.

To see actual cost of ownership records of the Sprinter, E350, and E450 would be a huge benifit to folks like me just getting into RVing. My biggest fear is to make such a major decision simply based on anecdotal evidence, and possibly make a wrong one. Based on what I have learned so far I am sure many of the experianced members of this group keep excellent records. If they are willing to share those I for one would be very greatful. The fact that PC not only would allow this on a forum they pay for, but would actually encourage it speaks volumes of who and what they are as a corporation. It reaffirms my desire to own a PC. I'm just not sure which one.

Does anyone tow 4 down a Subaru Forester? I read varying reports about if this is even possible.

David,
Any pictures with the kayaks up on top? Looking to do something similar but I'm a bit concerned that the width between the rails will be to much and with two kayaks the wind load will put an awful stress on those railings.

Aimee, don't know if this is something you fix or not, but on the website under the "popular options" section there are some repeats.

Getting rid of the duplicates would free up some space. Right now the text runs out of the frame. At least on my monitor.

Thats a good point I had not considered regarding the airbag. It would be an important safety consideration to only travel with the passinger seat in the facing forward and locked position. Me being an anti nanny state, personal freedom kind of person, think that would be a good personal house rule to follow. Remember I'm from NH where our motto is "Live Free or Die"! So the forum has convinced me to have a 6-way driver seat, and swivel passinger seat, with house rules. On a side note I wonder if anyone ever tried to drive their RV in swiveled drivers seat. There always does seem to be someone that through their own stupidity ruins things for the rest of us. There is the urban legend about the new RV owner that picked up his new rig, got on the highway and put on the cruise control, and then got up to make a sandwich. I have a hard time believing this ever happened, but knowing the human species it probably did. Darwin rules apply. Reminds me of the time I had educate my daughter and my wife that the dash board was not the proper place to put their bare feet while being a passinger. I unfortunately know someone whos daughter did this and ended up with two broken legs, a fractured pelvis, broken jaw, and several missing teeth.

Love the forum. Well I'm not tall. The better half is just short. Just a hair over 5 feet and thats a lot of the reason she doesn't like to drive. On every car she has had from the Chevy Chevette, the Tercel, the Colt, to the last two Subaru Foresters she has sat on a pillow. Maybe a power seat would be a good idea for the range of motion so she could drive on the Interstates. She really doesnt like to unless she has to. With no slide a swivel drivers seat is useless anyway.

Is the 6 way power seat worth it? I'm the only one that is going to drive this pleasure dome so I question the need of a 6 way power seat? I would defiantly get a passenger seat that swivels but should the drivers seat also?

We were at Danforth Bay in Freedom NH the weekend after Labor Day for the Phoenix Rally. Were you aware that it was happening there
Not too far from you guys. Very nice campground.

Judi and George

Hi Judi. No, I just found this group and the PC a couple of weeks ago. I had gone to a Camper World store on a rainy Sunday and saw a Winnabago View which I liked, but Jackie did not like the bed above the cab. So that got me looking at other Sprinter based options. And here is where I landed. I would have loved to have known about the rally as it would have been great to see some of these units in person and get a feeling of them. I am sure that there will be others happening. Maybe not so close but I dont mind taking a trip to see for my self.
