Those first three pictures look a lot like our new 3100!   Wink  No "modifications" so far...but I did attach a really large match near the range.  I might even post a picture of that after we get out of this Texas heat and settle into the cool weather of Eagle Nest NM.

(We do like those floors)

Thanks for this!  Our 3100 is the 2013 from the Louisville rally.  My wife found some sagging areas just inside the overhead storage above the eating area.  I'll have to figure out what glue to use and attempt your method.

Aimee, we live in Tyler, TX -- about 90 miles east of Dallas - along with our brand new 3100.  If any fellow Texans need a look before July 30 when we get out of this heat and go to New Mexico for a month, we would be happy to show off our new toy.

Hello Ambassador.  We have considered going to Kerrville.  We are going to Eagle Nest, NM for the month of August, and will get back to Texas about Sept 2.  We have considered "changing clothes" and heading to Kerrville, but we haven't made up our mind yet.  We just sent in the application to join the club today.  We would like to meet others who drive PCs and to learn more.  Hopefully we can make that trip also.

Hello James.  We just bought a 3100 at the Louisville Rally and drove it to our home in Tyler.  I know that is 90 miles away, but if you are out and about, we would be happy to show ours to you.  We have family in Arlington, and if we take it over there for a night or two, we can make arrangements to meet you at Treetops RV there.

We sold our Newmar Ventana 39' DP a few months ago and did a lot of looking before choosing this one.  Like you, we didn't want to buy one sight unseen.  The Rally gave us the opportunity to make up our mind.

Let me know if we can get together.

Both my wife and I do like the wood floor. The colors are great throughout the rig.  BJ's not too crazy about the twin beds though.  We have been married 50 years as of Feb 1 this year, and she is a snuggler.  The first morning when we woke up she sat up in her bed, looked over at me, and said, "Did you miss me?"   LOL

We got back to Texas today after a smooth trip.  The 3100 did fine on the road and so far so good on all items on it.

Yes, it is the one with the wood floors and the "Dusk" paint job.  I really don't know what the 2013 changes are, but Stuart convinced me that it was a 2013.  (Actaully, he just told me it was and I accepted it!)  More to come later.

Thanks to all of you for the encouraging comments.  We "took delivery" this afternoon and parked it near our other RV friends from Texas.  We will take off Monday morning for home.  So far we have found a couple of things that we will need answers on, but other than that it sure feels good to have the decision made.

Keelhauler, I did not check my e-mail until tonight, so I did not get to follow up on the booth.  Maybe at the next one...

It sure is a good looking motorhome!

Well, the Rally cost us a bit more than we initially paid!  My wife BJ and I bought the 3100 that Stuart brougt to Louisville.   Grin  We are excited about getting our first PC.  I have been reading this forum for months now, and I appreciate the input all of you have shared with each other.  I look forward to particiapting more as we start to enjoy the PC.  We will take it home Monday after the Rally is over.  Wish us luck in our first trip. My wife and I are going to be there.  Our prime goal is to pick out a new Class C -- hopefully a PC.  After following things on this board we are anxious to see a PC "up close and personal."  Sold our Newmar DP, and we want to get back to having some more fun with our friends.]

My thanks to all who responded.  Your suggestions are great.  My wife, BJ (stands for Betty Jean...but we won't go there), is a bit closer to putting her concern aside.  We will keep reading and looking.  I hope to be a PC owner before too long.

Thanks Sue and Jerry for getting me off to a good start.  I am out of town right now, so I had my wife log on and read your responses.  You had her laughing, so maybe we are making progress!
