Ron, I use Boeshield T-9 Lub. It a waterproof lubrication I was told to use on my bike chain, does not collect dirt or water. So I use it on all moving parts of my 3100, steps, battery slide value actuators, slide. works great, not cheap at all, 4 oz. can is $20.00, cheaper on line when ordering mult. cans

I have it put on my 3100, didn't like the angle of the set(front to back of seat), then had it removed

Sandy, My guess is the your AC unit doesn't have a heat strip in it. You will need to look at your model number and check and see if it came with it,

jatrax:  My is wired like a 220 home, with a double main breaker. The plug on the outside is a 4 prong for 2 110v circuit. What happen when you plug into a 30 to 50 amp adapter is the hot wire of the 30 amp is crossed wired over to the 2nd hot wire of the 50 amp plug. SO with the 50 amp circuit you really have 100 amp of 110 vac, and with 30 vac you get only 30 amps of power. That why you can run just about everything at one time with to 50 amp service.  Not sure where they put the  inverter circuits on my PC3100. Have never need to check it out, but I think it's under the passenger side bed, I hear a fan coming on/off at times  Hope this helps, let me know if you need any more help.

jatrax, I have the 50 AMP upgrade and love it. The best thing is that I don't have to think about what is on. I can run both AC/Heat Strips, Microwave, Water heater and Wife hair dryer all at the came time. With only 30 AMPs 1 AC, Water Heater, if you want to run the Microwave you have to shut off the AC/Heat Strip. Now with the generator running only the front AC/Heat Strip can run, and the Water Heater. We have 3 dogs that travel with us so we can shut off the bedroom from the front and still have AC/Heat Strip and run the front unit for the girls. We have camped in 10 degree weather and have been very warm with both running without the gas heater on.
Hope this will help

Fandj,  The 12 volt outlet in the PC was part of the old winegard tv antenna amplifier system, I got the newest amplifier and lost the 12 volt outlet, that most likely why you didn't have one

Ron,
Don't know if you have the BLUE IPASS or not but you will need it out of Illinois. You will end up with the WHIRE and BLUE for towing with an RV. just through I would say something

Ron, Forgot to say that Ford is not giving the Spare tire with the cutaway, now you have to buy it as an extra

Ron, What Bob told me at the factory last week when I was in for repairs is that you can have the new end cap without the spare and the origianal end cap with the spair

Had nitrogen put in my PC 3100 last year, the only thing I can say is I don't have to top off the Air PSI after letting the unit set over the winter. Before I would have to add between 10 to 20 PSI of air before any trips, this year I have not added any at all still holding 80 PSI.

Been using the Scangauge for years. In by F250 and then in the 3100, run Water Temp, Out Side Air Temp, Total Miles per Tank, and Ave Gas Mileage per Tank, With the Ford F250 I did water, boot, PF temp, and Tran Temp. Plus there a whole lot of other time to do with it.
