Had nitrogen put in my PC 3100 last year, the only thing I can say is I don't have to top off the Air PSI after letting the unit set over the winter. Before I would have to add between 10 to 20 PSI of air before any trips, this year I have not added any at all still holding 80 PSI.

Been using the Scangauge for years. In by F250 and then in the 3100, run Water Temp, Out Side Air Temp, Total Miles per Tank, and Ave Gas Mileage per Tank, With the Ford F250 I did water, boot, PF temp, and Tran Temp. Plus there a whole lot of other time to do with it.

On my Ford, I ran a +12 and a Ground wire from the 7 pin connector from the PC to the battery with a 20 Amp fuse in each wire. Also did the same thing for a Hybrid Ford when his battery kept discharging while towing. after the rewire no problems.

When you get the awning out, look at the top of the mounted rail to the body, pull the cover off the wiring going into the unit, mind didn't have the rubber grumit (M SP) on the hold, I filled mine with RTV and that took care of the water leak, The only way to check the water leak is to put the hose at the top of the awning bar and let the water run stright down the bar. If the TV antenna wire is leaking the you will have water comming throught the speaker on the right side, that where mind was

You might want to check the one way value the you hook the shore water to and see if it is opening all the way. I know on my 3100 when I got it, it didn't close all the way and when I used the pump it would spray the water out of it.

Ron,
The Web site is www.5startuning.com/got-a-v10-rv I didn't look up the price but if I remember it was around $400.00. You hookup the programmer to the OBD-II Port.   You can more information on the IRV2 Forum under a search for  5 Star Tune Ford V10. Hope this will help.  Like I said I really like mine.

Ron,
Have you look at the 5 Star Tuner for the v10. I put it on mind and it works great, drops into 4 gear on most up grades and holds at about 500 RPM, if the speed drops another 5 to 10 MPH it will drop into 3rd gear, It only drop from 5th to 3rd if it is going down a long hill and right back in a steep up grade. Been using it for a couple of year and love how it works. Did not help that much on the fuel, but it states up to 10 percent of 8 MPG is only .08.

Sound like one off the butt connectors has a loose connection, meaning the butt connector didn't get crimped good enough, which also means you will most likely have the same problem again.
