Well .. here is the thing .... I don't really like to fly, I go, but it doesn't make my day  shrug.... BUT I absolutely LOVE,LOVE,LOVE our 2350 PC (my plane).... it just doesn't get any better then that ... we have the best of both worlds ... he can go fly and play and then we can take a trip in the PC. We do live in an airpark with a runway in the back yard and I have been given a corner of the aircraft hanger for the PC  ThumbsUp .. it is all good !
Carol

No offense, but if you have a Atec 322 why would you need a motorhome?  That is one high performing aircraft and a beauty of aerodynamic design.  Even better it appears they must have a hanger and airport on their property.  That is the best of both worlds.  We always said, if we could make our cars and motorhomes as aerodynamically efficient as the sailplanes we flew, we could save a lot of gas.  Enjoy.

Yep .... we bought one of the 2013 - 2350's that he had at the Ft. Myers show and we just noticed that the other 2350 he brought down is sold also .... GO PHOENIX CRUISER !!!!!!!!!!!!!

The SE Area FMCA rally in Brooksville, FL starts tomorrow.  So far there are  three PCs seen there. One from Pennsylvania, grey paint, two slides. One from the local area, one slide, grey full body paint. Both on the west runway. And my 2910 sitting opposite seminar D and the food court.  No PCs on display this year because Stuart sold the show models before the show.

Thanks Sue ... I could not believe how bad it looks. Vince pressure washed the underneath of the rv yesterday but we really need to treat it .... do you have to do anything to the existing rust first or just paint right on it ?
Carol

Carol,

We have used chassis saver to take care of any rust on the frame.  This is a link http://www.magnetpaints.com/underbody.asp
It is similar to por-15.

It is not clear.  It comes in a couple of shades of black and a silver color.  Not cheap and you have to be "VERY" careful when you use it because it will bond to anything--including skin.  But the benefits are it does bond the rust and thus stop it from speading further.

We bought it at a local auto store in our area.

We used it first on our battery tray and it looks brand new.  I think we bought an 8 ounce can for $30.

The box you speak about behind the steps up underneath .... our 2013 2350 is solid rust. Didn't seem like the company we picked it up from cleaned it up and we had rust in the tail pipe and some corrisive areas from what I am assuming is salt from the vehicle coming from up north ?
I read something somewhere on the blog about something clear that takes care of the rust and protects it, or did I just dream it ?

I would like to take care of it asap butu not sure what to use.

Carol...

Please let me know what your husband does to replace the slide mechanism - I braced the plastic fittings with a steel L bracket for support, but I'm not sure how long it will last. On my 2350 there is no side wood for the ball bearing slide to mount to. That's the reason for the support under the plastic wall fitting.

Thanks,
Jack

Jack:
We got the 16" soft close ball bearing Full extension slide #885785470749  $12.98@ at Home Depot (. Since they are self closing they don't need any additional latch to keep them closed, they work fantastic.
The bracket #781266294999 frame kit $2.97@
The slide was 16" long but the drawer opening depth was 17"  and the brackets were about 2" long and plastic but very thick and strong which we purchased seperate. The width of the drawer opening was 13" wide but our drawers were 12-1/8" wide so he had  to cute an 1/8" width off the drawers. The drawer hit the bracket in the back by 1" so he had to carve out a u-shape in the drawer 1/8" deep to accomidate clearing the bracket on both sides.
A real pain but so worth it .... easy for me to say, I just watched  Smile.
I can take a picture if you would like ?

Here are the instructions for the Samsung TV/DVD Player. You can print them out from the website:
http://phoenixusarv.com/assets/samsung-instructions.pdf
Or just view them here (don't try to print this version, it will be grainy to print):

I went to click on the site to download the instructions for the Samsung TV/DVD players and it took me to an inventory of PC for sale and ones sold ?????????
Am I missing something ?

Judy, Thanks for the picture. I think that looks really nice and much more usable for me then the butcher block.

I have the slide in right now so I went out to see what Ron meant with the drawers blocking the refrigerator door and getting by, being as we have the 2350's. This is all so new, and the short time we had our other 2350 .. we grilled outside and have not done any serious prep work or cooking in the kitchen .. I can see where it could be a problem.

Ron: are you talking about taking your door off completely on the right side and making a stack of drawers ????

Carol, I found the photo of the BBB basket that is mounted in our 2910 in place of the cutting board.

Question not to ask in a children's Sermon.

A Pastor was presenting a children's sermon. During the sermon, he asked the children if they knew what the resurrection was. Now, asking questions during children's sermons is crucial, but at the same time, asking questions in front of a congregation can also be very dangerous.

Having asked the children if they knew the meaning of the resurrection, a little boy raised his hand. The pastor called on him and the little boy said, "I know that if you have a resurrection that lasts more than four hours you are suppose to call the doctor".

It took over ten minutes for the congregation to settle down enough from their laughter for the worship service to be continued.

Wow so many wonderful ideas.

Sue: Really Love the pantry idea, although with us having the 2350 I would have to hang a pot rack from the ceiling to fit my pots and pans  rolling on the floor  but I love the pull out pantry's.

Tom: I can appreciate having the butcher block for hot pots and pans ... you will just have to try for a different mod ha-ha !

Judy: I really, really love the idea of the basket and  especially the storage for foil and zip lock bags etc .... and you just reminded me to put the corkscrew in the the 2350  Cheers

Poor Vince, I think his head is spinning afraid that I might ask for next  Grin !
