Sue you are very fortunate to have a handy husband and I bet there are a few that could've done that job or known what to do. This is beginning to sound a lot like an overheating problem and everybody's having because the cabinet doesn't give ample space as required by the Samsung unit for cooling. The matter what unit we put in there It's going to be a heat problem.

Ours quit too after storing it during winter.  Won't power up at all.

Thank you!  I wish we knew why it won't power up.  Any ideas?

Our DVD player won't power up. Samsung. 2010 2551. Any ideas. I checked batteries. Turned in at the unit directly. I have 110 in the outlet. Called Samsung. No help. Has anybody found another unit that fits this tight space?

Thank you all.  It's been a while so we forget a few things and our manual has nothing about this issue.  You're the best! Hug2

Getting ready to replace the original batteries on my 2008, 2551 Phoenix.  What are the recommended engine and house battery replacements.

We've been plugged in for the winter too.  Battery was dead on the engine on our 2008.  I thought the house batteries helped start the vehicle in this case.

Thanks Sue.  I have a brand new one we won't need and was going to sell it.  I don't think I'll bother if they are that cheap.  This has the motor in it.

How can I find out the cost of a new inflatable bed for the 2551 couch?  Who makes them and what size is it?

I will add a photo when I get home unless there is some reason to do it sooner, then I will do that too.

We visited Phoenix in Elkhart and met the wonderful people there along with Kermit.  All our questions and issues were addressed and we highly recommend these folks.  Afterwards, we visited Lambrights' Amish furniture maker in Shipshewana and had him examine our uncomfortable couch situation.  They had a pair of wallhugger recliners that would fit perfectly with a slight modification added to cover the bottom visually.  We will have to put a piece of carpet behind it because you can sort of see back there now.  I am sitting forward enough now that I can actually see the TV, have footrests and each chair came with a computer table that folds down in matching cherry wood.  We selected the leather like fabric that matches the front seats and it looks and feels great.

I donated the sofa to a women's group there but kept the never used air mattress and motor if anybody is interested in purchasing it.

Darn, sorry we didn't know.  Is Barry and Sue who we met?  2007?

We met several current and one new owner of Phoenix motorhomes at the show today.  Nice people selling the units too.  The new owners got a 2552 and were so happy sitting inside looking it over.  The other folks, have a 2007 2400 I think.  Wish I'd gotten their names.  Seeing all the gorgeous motorhomes there, some up to $2 mil, we are happy with the one we have.  In love!

Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas to you all!  Hope your new year is full of health and travels in your rigs.  Gordon and I are planning a spring trip.  Can't decide if it will be Minnesota/Wisconsin or New England.
