1  Main Forum / General Discussion / Member map or state listing? on: September 21, 2015, 12:50:32 pm
Do we have a listing of members by state or show them on a map without having to click on each individual name? Might be an easier way to see where people are located. We do this on my motorcycle page, listing who might be able to provide assistance in case of an emergency or a breakdown, or just to let others know where we are in relation to the Mothership!

Still waiting for our first road sighting...really surprises me as everywhere we stop for gas or camping, everybody we see comments on our 2551. I hand out literature & give a tour.

We were in Mystic visiting a son last month. Took side trips to Boston and Newport.  95 was terrible, as usual...lucky to get up to 45MPH, but most times, it was a parking lot. Still pretty bumpy, but not a whole lot of other options. Side roads are mostly 25-35MPH & still packed. Love the area, though!

We carry a small Honda NT700V on a Nomanco single rail bike trailer. Don't even know it's there until I check the backup cam. Also, the trailer is very usefol for carrying overflow items. Still looking for a carrier capable of carrying 600 pounds that would fit the hitch, but none look sturdy enough or as easy to load as the current trailer. This trailer has automotive wheels. I like the larger size!

We are able to buy Mouse Sachets at out local hardware store. Will just re-coat with peppermint oil when the smell begins to fade.

We actually saw a similar case in Florida back in March...looked like it had been applied over dusty sand!

2 Frazzled....regarding the Sub Base cell phone problem: if it's like the one in Groton,CT, they probably have a de-gaussing station that they pass through on their way out to sea. This causes havoc with everything if you are near it!

Actually, I just cut a small 1/2'' X whatever length you need to place on the outside of the door in between the frame. This keeps the door from opening when we are outside. Also, in order to keep the puppy from pushing against the screen & scaring the crap out of all of us, I bought a piece of 2' x 8' vinyl lattice & cut a 26" piece off. Then, I applied 4 pieces of self sticking magnetic strips. This allows it to be place against the screen door on the inside. The magnets stick to the actual door frame. So far, both things seem to be working well!

Just wondering...what does it take to be considered "fulltimers"? We just licensed our 2011 in Indiana & it was nearly $1500 for 14 month tags. South Dakota sounds wonderful! As soon as we sell this house, We will hit the road for at least 6 months out of the year, more if necessary.

For the dog, we use a gel-filled disc that is heated for 5 minutes in the microwave. It stays warm for 8-12 hours. Would save the power for the kitty warmer!

Good ideas! You are right about the limited storage in the PC. My wife is stressing out about where to store everything!
