78  Main Forum / General Discussion / My MCD shade fell down on: June 06, 2014, 07:49:10 pm
 pulling hair out

Two clips pulled out, the third was hanging on.  After removing the valance, removing the shade , I tried to reposition the clips.  This shade is mounted to the overhead cabinet above the bed  (PC2350)
and when I screwed the clips back in I noticed that the only wood for the screw to grab is the panel and it's rather flimsy. No meat to hold onto.  These are very heavy shades so check them from time to time. Right now I'm working on solution.    Problem solved, I'm going to Phoenix on Monday for the new screen door.

John and Holly I'll see you in Indiana.  Safe Travels everyone.   ThumbsUp

Buffalo Rose,  have you tried printing your map from MS Streets and Trips. It will give you several options. One option is exactly like a trip tik.  For  States I use the Rand McNally Truck Guide.  But as gradygal said Walmart Atlas will work just fine.

I have the Stow Away swing box on my 2350...They have extensions that allow the box to swing out so that rear trunk door opens freely.  As for the ladder I removed the pivots and replaced them with push pins allowing the ladder to fold up and secured with a bungee cord.  If you like I can post pictures of this setup.

Barry opened up a can of worms.
Got to thinking , not only a new screen door.
New Tires....I need 6 new tires.
New Batteries.
Nice wood floor vs. Tiled
More Room
Power Awning vs Crank it out

And she could be all dressed and ready for PEI in August.  Maybe I'll ask Karen to go and get that  knee replacement done early.....I'll ask her just as they put her under cuz that's only way I might have  a chance.      Grin

I've noticed on the newer PCs that the screen door has a more rigid frame then the one on my 2008. I'm curious if I could purchase that style door for my MH.   I am going to Indiana next Friday.  rolling on the floor.

A new screen door or an upgrade to the 2450?????     Grin Grin
