Maybe we'll have more than 29 families at next years Rally in Colorado Springs.  You can all come and Frank Da Yooper..... he's a hoot.

29 Phoenix Cruisers attended this years Rally at the Petoskey KOA in Michigan. Folks came from South Carolina, Maryland, California, Massachusetts, and we even had a family from Michigan's Upper Peninsula who crossed over the Mackinac Bridge to join us.

Weather cooperated the whole time, even as we crossed the water to Mackinac Island. It started out a bit foggy but improved as we reached the dock on the Island.

Here is the product I purchased from Meguiars and applied last week to my 2350.
http://www.meguiarsdirect.com/product_detail.do?q=4671

My neighbor owns a small Boston Whaler fleet and told me that he uses a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser along with Dawn dish detergent in warm water to remove the oxidation.  It worked.

After removing the oxidation I applied this Meguiar's  3 step system with DeOxidizer, polish and wax.  I am happy with the results. Thank Goodness it's a small RV it took 4 days to git er dun.    Grin

Thank You Tom

I spent the day preparing for Petoskey and checked my door. My screws were loosepulling hair out  in fact I found a few more loose around my door frame, all tight now.

Again Thanks

It took my awhile to get the PC waxed but the new scaffold made the job easier. No bugs on the bubble anymore.   Heart Shower

I do have the ladder on the back but I used it once in 5 years. To go on the roof I use my 10' step ladder. Since I bought the scaffold I feel better cleaning the roof and the front of the MH, its very secure. Tomorrow I'll be waxing the front so I'll get a few photos to post.

Here are a few photos from my last trip to PEI. We were camped on a friends lot in Brackley Beach. When we were in Georgetown we ran into George and Judy (gradygal) in their Phoenix.

I have never taken a ferry with my PC.  I think that you gave me a great idea for next year. I checked the Ferry web site for schedules and fees.
I'd like to try it out.

Reaching the top and middle is no problem when the scaffold is positioned along the side from the front with mirrors folded in. When I do the front it has to be positioned on an angle crossing the hood allowing access to both middle and bottom of the Bubble.  I'll have to take a few pictures to show it at work. Last week when I used it for the first time it made it so much easier to get that big Bump clean. Poles and brushes were not getting the stubborn insects of Delaware and Virginia off.

Great pictures. That looked to be a beautiful trip for you.
Now I want to go back to Brackley Beach, PEI.

I found my solution to cleaning the Bubble.  Home Depot had this scaffold on sale, and they were demonstrating it in their parking lot. It allows me to wash and wax the Bubble safely, and to wash the roof with a long handled brush. Storing was the only problem, once it is disassembled it fits perfectly in my shed.
