Let's give it a deadline for the end of the month.  2012 will be included in "post"  I'll edit the e-mail above.   LOL

More than one PC in it would be included in the newer category.

It's been awhile.  Let's do another photo contest of your units on location somewhere. We will have two categories, pre-2012 and 2012-2015.  Your photos may be used on our website, or advertising, so keep that in mind when submitting them to me. I have to figure out the prize, but we'll do some Phoenix Cruiser swag, and maybe a nice professionally printed, framed print of your photograph if you win.

To All,
This morning there was a hardware failure at our data center that affected the availability of the website.

We are back up and running currently. Please let us know if you are encountering any issues. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Oh, I gotcha! Yeah, those weren't our regular aesthetic either, but they perform very well at kiosks where there are a bunch of tri-folds to choose from. It makes us crazy too.  pulling hair out

Aimee I am sorry if I offended you in any way. You know I am a big fan off your work and all you do for us on this forum. I know that each part of this country has different taste and still I opened my big mouth.

My concern had to do with all that bright red. It seemed to scream at me. It also seemed to be overly crowed with information.

What I was hoping for was a something about that size but only a front and back card type. It might list the company name, address, phone and contact information with room for me to add my name and if I want contact information. Having some information like "we custionize layouts",and maybe the layouts on the back. Also "Call and see what we can do for you"  would be helpful.

As they say "less is more" and "keep them  asking for more". After all the reason I would give them the card is to get them to call Earl for more infomation. Let him do his magic with them.

Again I hope you can forgive me.

Tom, I'm not offended!  I'm also not sure if you're talking about the cards or the brochure.  The brochure I designed.  The cards I have not seen. They may have just used a pre-designed card from a card company.

No worries!

I got my cards and brochures from Phoenix on Monday. I have stapled a card to each brochure and plan on handing them out to anyone that comes and ask to see my PC.

A couple of suggestions if you want to get them. Call Kyle at the factory and ask for them.

For security reasons I would suggest you not put your address on the cards as you don't want anyone to know that you are away from your home on a trip. There are bad guys out there.

The other suggestion is for the next printing of the brochures: a white space be left on the back with the words "Brand Ambassador" and room for us to write in our name and maybe a phone number and/or email address if we chose to do so.
Updating to a more modern look and color would be nice. They currently remind me of something that came out of the 1950s. Maybe a graphic designer or Aimee could suggest something.

Has anyone else received their cards or brochures yet? What do you think about them?

I'm sorry, Tom.  I did design the current brochures. I never got the 50's vibe off of them, and haven't heard that before, but I am open to suggestions.
23  Main Forum / General Discussion / Planned Maintenance Sunday July 20th on: July 19, 2014, 12:55:06 pm
Just to let you know, we will have a scheduled downtime Sunday July 20th from 6am to 10am EST while we migrate to a "bigger better faster more" server.  During this time, the forum may be down, and if it is up, any posts made may be lost.  We are sorry for any inconvenience, but we are excited to say that we have experienced enough growth and traffic that the move is necessary. :-)
24  Main Forum / General Discussion / Heading out of town for a few days on: March 13, 2014, 05:06:11 pm

I just went through the 400 pending applications one by one, and approved (pending activation) 18 new members!  I'm very excited to welcome new folks to our forum. Make yourselves at home.  Look around a little bit. Please be respectful of our forum rules and guidelines, which you can find pinned at the top of our forum.  They're pretty simple--don't be mean, and don't try to sell us stuff, basically.

You old-timers, please help keep an eye on things, and send me an e-mail or text me (for those of you who have my number) if you see something amiss that needs tending to while I'm gone.

Thanks so much, and have fun!!  ThankYou

 ThankYou Thanks, Guys!

I'm working on one specific to the forum now.  The other one is specific to the main site, and mentions a little bit about the forum. :-)

I didn't change anything on the stats page. I'm just making some tweaks here and there to under-the-hood stuff, and realized I didn't have a privacy policy for the site.

I wanted to make sure you guys have a plain english privacy policy, so you know exactly what we do and don't do with your information.

We've had questions before about what our cookies do, or if we give anyone your information, so here it all is in plain english. No lawyer speak here:

 LOL I hear ya!
28  Main Forum / General Discussion / Phoenix Cruiser wants your 2552! on: January 09, 2014, 11:36:19 am
If you own a 2552 and are thinking of trading it in on a newer 2552 or a different model, this really is the time for it. Phoenix is willing to pay a premium on the used 2552. They can't keep them in stock and have a waiting list. Call Earl as soon as possible if you're even on the fence. He can probably offer you a pretty sweet deal.
29  Main Forum / General Discussion / Small Giveaway on our Facebook Page on: December 11, 2013, 07:11:22 pm

I'm giving away a 4 oz bottle of Kronen Premium Holding Tank Treatment (honest-to-goodness, it smells like a nice shampoo, and TONS of people have told me they love it, so I grabbed some bottles from them at the trade show to share with y'all).  All it'll cost you for your chance to win a bottle is to comment on the Facebook post about spending Christmas camping.  :-)
