Thank you so much.  Grin It has been a lot of work, and a long time coming. The new server gave us fits, so we're back to the old one for now, and we're just squeezing as much as we can out of the code, making it as efficient as possible for faster load times. I need to redo the forum, but that always looks like such a big mountain to climb...

Ron, I'd love to get full-sized copies of (if numbering from top to bottom)

#1, #3, #4, and #10

And maybe a statement or two, and I could use them on the website.

Just a bump, to ask for  Help  If you have a short write-up about Phoenix, and a photo or two of your unit in a campground, on the road, on a trip, at the gas station, anything...I'd love to have it.  ThankYou

business pages can't have "friends" they can just have "fans", or people that "like" them.

when you want to post something and tag Phoenix, here's what you do.

1. Visit the Phoenix Cruiser RV page on Facebook, and "like" it.

2. Place your photo in your "What's on Your Mind" box, to post it on your wall.

3. In the text box along with that, type your message, and be sure to type this:   @Phoenix Cruiser RV's  As you start typing, a little drop-down will suggest "Phoenix Cruiser RV's" to you. Select that to change the @Phoenix Cruiser RV's to a link to the Facebook page.

4. Change your permissions for this post from 'Friends' to 'Everybody', and submit it!

It will post on the Phoenix Facebook page, and will post on your wall.  Your friends will get the update from you, and they can click through to the Phoenix Cruiser page too if they like! :-)

Ooh....let me see if I can grab pix of it!

edited to add:
Kevin, I understand exactly what you mean. One of my dearest family friends is a man I have to drag kicking and screaming into the present every few years. He was running a large eBay business on dial-up until I finally hounded him to upgrade last year. Now his whole life has changed. LOL

I was so impressed!  ThumbsUp Like you, I was impressed with the size of the fish, and the feat of getting it into that cooler!  I was looking for a great caption...something like, "even your biggest catch will fit in your Phoenix Cruiser", but I couldn't come up with anything.  shrug

now is the time to get your stories and photos in to me. You can email them to me , and I'll start working on getting a testimonials page together, and choose the first one to feature on the home page of the site when I'm finished with the revamp.   I'm looking for 1-3 photos, preferably at least one of them 'on location' somewhere. The text should be 1-3 short paragraphs (2-3 sentences apiece).

I use facebook to save me time, for the most part. If you avoid the games, it's easy to pop in, update everyone who needs updating all at once, and then pop back out. When my son won the gold at nationals this year, I posted it on facebook from the event in about 15 seconds, and I didn't call a single person to tell them. Everybody who needed to know got to see it with photos. The same with videos of the event, and such.

Think about someone picking up their new RV, and posting a photo and status update at the factory.  All the time saved from e-mails and phone calls, etc.

We really do appreciate you signing up and hanging out with us there, but don't worry.  If you can't hang out there, I'll still keep you guys posted on things here. You are my first priority.  Heart Shower
509  Main Forum / General Discussion / Re: Karma on: August 09, 2010, 08:54:56 pm
Do you see how you can "applaud" or "smite" a post that someone makes?  The karma is the total number of times someone has been applauded (which adds a +1 to the karma) minus the total number of times someone has been smited (which subtracts one from the karma).

510  Main Forum / General Discussion / I am leaving for Virginia Beach! on: July 28, 2010, 03:58:47 pm
2 of my children and I are packing up and heading to Virginia Beach, where they're competing in the Junior Olympics. In my absence, I have someone who will be checking for new member requests, and approving them, but it may be a little slower.  I know it seems like a quiet group, but there is a lot of work behind the scenes that goes on to prevent spammers from signing up, so each applicant has to be reviewed by hand before approval can happen. Bear with us, please.

I'll be back next Wednesday, and things will be back to normal.  Until then, take care!
