Thanks everyone. I really do like it better, as we seldom eat inside anyway. Now if we do, Lonnie uses little flip up table by his chair and I use the new one. Works good for us! When you think about it, how much time do you actually spend eating a meal anyway?  One thing I would have done different is switch out the bed cushions for a one piece mattress. Might still do that sometime. Either way, if we sell, the whole thing can easily put back as a dinette. Anyhoo, thanks for the compliments. Made my day!

Here is where I put our paper towel holder. Wish I'd known about the magnetic one.

9  Main Forum / Tips and Tricks / Extra bedroom storage on: January 08, 2012, 05:07:17 pm
I'm on a roll! My last post with pics worked so I'm going to continue on!!

I built these shelves under the back bedroom cabinets then found a storage box that fits on it. I moved the little "legs" under the box to fit behind and in front of the shelf. Haven't driven with the boxes in place yet, so don't know if they will bounce off or not. I also built an identical shelf above our bedroom tv to hold our satellite receiver. Forgot to take a picture of that one.

Well, now that I have this picture thing figured out (I hope), I want to share my latest mods. Our dinnette was fine for eating, but not much on comfort when wanting to kick back and watch tv. DH is happy in his 3rd captain's chair but I just couldn't make the dinette bench work. So, I put it into the bed position, bought some foam daybed bolster cushions (had to reshape ends some), and upholstered all. I added a memory foam cushion to the bed before covering. I bought a roll out plastic bin for extra storage under the bed. Carol was very helpful by supplying me with some wood and hardware to build the lift-up table. I included a little magazine rack behind the closed table. Now I can lounge like a princess!!   LOL

OK, SOUNDS easy! lol   Actually, that's exactly what I'm doing. BUT, I did just think of something......  I wonder if it's saving both the larger pic and the smaller one and I'm still trying to post the wrong one.  Hmmmm, I shall return, either very happy or even more frustrated!!

We're getting ready for FL and I have so much more to do than this, but it's driving me crazy.

Thanks guys.

I have been trying for days and days to post pictures on the forum. Everytime I submit a post, it says my file is too large. I've adjusted the picture to be less than the 128 kb (I think), but they still won't go through. Any idea what I could be doing wrong????

Thanks!
