Gary:

Can't help on the Max air.

The rear view camera is a must but I am not a fan of the new video screen in the rear view mirror.  It is too little a screen and you have to dial up the brightness to see anything.  On my 2010 2350 we had the big screen and that was great. Keep in mind I am in my 40's and do not wear glasses and that screen is too little.  I plan on splicing in a big screen for the rear camera.  There is a thread on here about the rear view mirror cameral you can check out.

I might be a little late for this conversation as you might have purchased something already.  We have our own "MIFI" from   AT&T which is basically our own portable wireless router.  It allows us to connect up to  5 computers at the same time  and can use 5gb of data whether it be video or not. We can also do video messaging.   It can run at 3g or 4g depending on your location.  It works in USA and Canada provided there is cell service.  It only costs 50.00 per month.  You could even get this and drop your internet service at home and probably would have basically no increase in bills to you.   It is a stand alone unit that is about the size of a wallet and runs off batteries or plugged in.   I even used it when the hurricane came through and land based internet was down.  It is a pretty neat unit.

Safe travels.

On our 2010 2350 we traded we could not get our zero gravity chairs in the back no how, now way. I bet if you measure your chairs they are more than 18 inches wide.  I still struggle with taking chairs.  On my 2350 I resorted to carrying them on top of the slide when it was in (of course).  The key is to remember they are up there before you put the slide out. I am pretty sure I started a chair poll to see what people are using and how they carry them.  Check it out.

Hi:

One more post.  Like I said, had the mh out this weekend for the first time.  Now I read how to use the hwh system and I did level the mh out alright but it seems to me it should be easier.  Can one of you tell me how you work yours just so I know I did it right?  Do you use boards underneath the jack?   We did not have the leveling system on the 2350, we used boards.  They seemed easier...lol...

Thanks.

Well,  I will try the furnace again.  Maybe the gas was not getting to it.  It was strange though because the ac blower came on within 2 seconds of turning the furnace on.  The blower motor of the furnace never came on.  I turned the system on and off a  few times and same thing always happened.  I did not try the ac as I was cold to begin with. Now that I am home I can cycle through the system and check them out.  I thought I might have a wire problem too.....Will keep you posted.

Hello all:

Finally had the chance to take our 2552 out for the first time.  Purchased last Oct and did not get a chance to camp in it.  Anyway, the Dometic control for the furnace/ac system is different than our old 2350.  I wanted to run the heat on Friday night and pressed the on button till the green light was at the furnace marking.  Immediately the blower on the roof mounted ac unit came on and the furnace on the floor never started.  Because I wanted heat I later turned on the heat strip on the roof mounted ac and had heat that way.  My question is, " how do you turn on the furnace?"

I wonder if one could splice a big video screen into the mirror.   I may have to check this idea out this weekend.....

Wow!!!!

DownbyRiver"  I am sorry for your loss of a good paying job right now.  I am confident you will find one soon, as you seem to be an extremely capable individual.

As far your your ideas about profit well............. I AM an AMERICAN  business owner with employees.  Yes, I hate taxes and the some of the stupid business laws.  But I have to tell you, profit unfortunately for you is every business owners motive.  If I cannot make a profit at what I do, then I am not going to do it.  Otherwise, I call that welfare and socialism.  If I want a loan to expand my business, do you know what the first question the banker asks me?  Are you making money?  If the answer is no, well then, no loan, no expansion, no payroll increase, no growth. Does all this stink?  Hell yea!! But the other choice is called socialism and that my friend I am not fond of.   So here I sit trying to make a profit this year so that I can continue to make employee payroll this Friday as we have continuously done since 1930!  Do I employee lots of people? Hell no, but the ones I do, depend on me and our profits. Do  I lay awake at night, wondering how our company can make it another week? Yup! Do I worry about the people who work for me? Yup.  Do I wonder sometimes why I continue to operate our business despite our stupid business laws? Yup.  But do I continue to do this day in and day out because there is no other country in this world that has this great form of democracy?  Damn right I do!

Keep your chin up and head held high because your are an AMERICAN and I guarantee your outlook and future will get better because you live in AMERICA!

Semper Fidelis

Just a sorta side note here.  On my 2010 2350 I had a nice big screen to see my rear(so to speak)  On my 2012 I have a little dinky rear screen in the rearview mirror.  Now, I am in my 40's and I can hardly see that screen and what behind me.  So, I can hardly believe that people older than I like that little screen.  Is is just me?

I will call the Co shortly and see if I can swap with somebody for the old one.  My old 2350 is now for sale on the Company website.  Think I can get my old screen??

Gentlemen:
..
I too have "toad" my jeep liberty diesel behind my 2010 2350. Never ever noticed it on any kind of road.   Level hitch is very important, no doubt.  I am wondering though "begentle" when was the last time you checked the torque on the nuts and bolts of your tow bars?  I seem to recall a while back that our friend "billy"  discussed this at length.  It is important and they do over time tend to get our of "whack" so to speak.  If you are not sure what the the bolts and nuts should be torqued at,  look it up on the "net" and have your mechanic check it if you do not have the proper tools.  Also, while you are at it, have your mechanic check the connections on the Escape to make sure they are still torqued to specs.  If  you have had this setup a while, which it seems you have, you need to do this too.  If your set up was done in 2009 and has not been re-torqued it is now time to do this and asap.  Simple changes in torque will cause just what you talk about.

 Just my thoughts.

Enjoy.!!!
