Now that's good news (about the kids ThumbsUp).

I just wish I could go back and do the things with my kids I did back in the day Cry.

Another Kudo for Carol and PC here. ThankYou
I called about a broken latch and Carol is sending a half-dozen.

And some people might wonder why we just bought our 3rd PC.
Super company, super product and super people - a winning combination  ThumbsUp.

Tom,
I've had RVs in one form or another since 1972 and, yes, I am sold on PC products (but I guess that's pretty obvious)  Heart Shower.

Ron,
I kinda wonder about your use of the emoticon you chose  shrug.

For Hanlon:
We traded in our 36' Alpine DP on a 2007 2350 in May, 2010; the 2007 2350 on the 2010 2551 in March, 2011 and the 2010 2551 in on the 2011 2552S in June.

And we ain't going back to the factory EVER again !!!!!!! - unless, of course, the world doesn't end in December 2012, which will require we trade up to a 2013 Whammo 2552S (S for Super this time).

And this for Dittmer:
All our other vehicles are Ford products, which require oil changes every 5,000 miles, smarty.
And we have that done by a friend.

As best I know, the S indicates a slide, which we have...........on a 2011 E450 Chassis.
So far, driving the secondary roads, as we prefer, we're getting over 10 MPG, which we can live with.

However, I really must avoid going to PC again.....................................(every time we've gone there we've left with a different Cruiser).

Ha !

We stopped by the factory to get a few pieces of Cherry wood and a Dinette table top for our 2010 2551. We wound up buying a new 2552S with Dinette and Euro chair (damned expensive wood  Wink ).

We're in the Middlebury KOA for our 1st night and all's well.

We're happy  Cheers

And, by the way, Stuart does smile.

The up arrow deploy the levelers and raises the side selected. The down arrow is to lower the coach and retract/store the levelers.
Pressing both up and down arrows at the same time does ?????????????????????????.

Hey Ron,
When are you going on your Lake Michigan trip?

We'll be in South Bend later in June to visit a friend and then stop at the factory on the way home to PA.

I know what made the decision; the absence of a ladder.
Actually, it is a very good photo and you can clearly see the Phoenix Cruiser name. Celebrate

Congratulations Ron. A deserved vistory.

But just wait 'til I get some photos on our next trip running the coast roads of lakes Erie. St. Claire and Michigan, which starts Tuesday morning (you'll be sorry). Cowboy

And remember to unlock the arms BEFORE you retract it.

419  Main Forum / General Discussion / Re: TV & battery disconnect? on: May 26, 2011, 05:00:50 am
After my last post I thought of a reason for not entirely isolating the 'House' batteries; that being to keep them fully charged.

Our Alpine's Chassis and House disconnects would isolate all associated batteries completely, which caused the Cummins ECM and Allison TCM, clocks and memory pre-sets to lose their 'learned' features. Depending on circumstances, an often good but sometimes not so good feature.

It would seem a "main disconnect" should disconnect ALL the 'House' systems.
Wonder what the logic was behind this.
