I am not familiar with the "green egg".  Is this a portable grill?  Do suggest a store which might carry it?  Thanks for the report on the grilling experience.

I cook quite a bit of Mediterranean and middle eastern food in the rv.  I also use a small electric cuisinart rice cooker.  It has a steamer so you can do the veggies and rice at the same time.  I often bake in the convection oven, but must admit that I am a bit intimidated by the grill option in the oven.  Does anyone use the grill much?

I really like couscous.  If you boil water in a kettle or the microwave you add it to the couscous, let it sit for ten minutes covered and then fluff with a fork.  At the same time, I like to add butter, cooked chicken onions and red pepper which I have cooked at home and refrigerated or raisins or dried cherries and slivered almonds.

4  Main Forum / General Discussion / Experience with the company on: February 24, 2009, 01:46:24 pm
My husband and I wanted to comment on the outstanding customer service of the company.  We have spoken several times with Kermit, the president, and he has been extremely helpful.  We would love it if Kermit shared some of his wealth of technical knowledge in the Cruiser Forum.  He is a goldmine of information.  We chose the Phoenix Cruiser in part because of the strong recommendations on other websites by Phoenix Cruiser owners.  Several posts raved about the personal service and, in particular, Kermit. Such service was important to us since we are new to RVing but thought that some comments were probably a little exaggerated.  However, after owning our 2551 for a year now, we want to spread the word about how amazingly helpful and personal the company has been in helping us get to know our vehicle and addressing any problems.
