RELIEF!!!! - We spoke to Carol at the factory this morning and she said that our awning was serviced either the morning of the day we picked up (5/1) or the previous day. Apparently the service guy didn't tell Dometic yet because they don't show the recall as completed (you'd think he'd want to get paid). Carol is sending the paperwork to us showing the completed repairs. Once we talked to Carol, we had to call Dometic to stop their frantic search for a service tech (6 calls to us yesterday) then call the techs they found and call off the dispatch of an emergency on-site repair at our campsite (#13 - for luck). Kudos to Phoenix for fixing it before our pick up... not too many kudos though because just telling us about it would have saved a lot of time, effort and stress.

Back to working and relaxing in the woods. This is our first "work" outing in the RV to test the cell booster, internet access, etc. Some good, some bad, some we have to figure out but it works well enough to get us by until we figure it all out and make it work even better. Three more months before we take the leap and run off in the PC (and the three months includes 3-4 weeks in the RV rolling out to and around the Black Hills and back) BUT WHO'S COUNTING?
