If anyone is ever stranded in Indiana (or just passing through), we recommend staying at Potato Creek State Park. It is about 20 miles south of Mishawaka where Jordan Ford is located and about maybe 30-40 miles from the Phoenix USA factory. They do recommend reservations and we were not able to get in over the weekend but there were plenty of sites during the week (early/mid Sept). We did have to change sites since the older loops have two sites sharing one electric post and the sites are large. We needed at least a 50' cord to use those sites and didn't have one yet (we do now). The one picture of our campsite shows almost the whole site. It was huge. They have a beautiful lake where you can swim, fish, boat and generally hang out. It is open year round but winter campers have to stay in the horseman's loop. We didn't check that one out. They have woods, prairie, wetlands, lake, streams, etc. They have a little nature center and miles of paved bike trails as well as unpaved, beginner level, mountain bike trails. Nice park.

John, Holly, and sometimes Chloe.
