Ann
We drive through Atlanta a couple of times a year. Most of this goes without saying but I'll say it anyway. The traffic is never light but sometimes it is heavier than others. If you can, plan your trip to avoid weekdays during rush hour. We always take the I285 West by-pass except early Sunday mornings.
Heading south out of Atlanta we always hit very slow traffic on I75 at the Joneboro exits between mile markers 231 to 221. Heading north if you stay on I75 and go through Atlanta you will find yourself in the 4th or 5th lane from the right when I285 merges in north of Atanta. This is not a real problem but you will need to be prepared to start moving to the right.
Coming from the north or the south as you approach Macon we always take the Macon by-pass (I475).
Barry

Hi Ann, I don't know about the routes, but don't do what I did and be so full of adrenaline and excitement that you drive too long. Take the time you need, get rest in decent motels or whatever, and take good care of yourself! Enjoy the ride, especially home! Carol

update: Here I sit in my beautiful new PC, in the Elkhart campground for the last night before taking off for the long drive home to Florida. Photos below (if I post them correctly). So far, I am absolutely thrilled with this PC, and the amazing customer service from everyone at Phoenix. They spent lots of time going through everything with me and making small tweaks, adding some extra shelves, mounting my genturi connector, etc. From wishes to paper to dream-come-true, the Phoenix team made it happen for me.
Thanks again to forum contributors who gave me lots of ideas and information (yes, I looked for, found, and had the sharp pointy screws against the macerator hose replaced with round-head bolts). Without you all, the intermittent fan noise under my refrigerator (Inverter) would be a mystery. Now fingers crossed that our trek home will be uneventful.

We no longer own a PC. We had two of them and loved them both. Due to changing health and no longer camping, we wanted a touring coach. Phoenix does not make a class B so we had to turn to a Winnebago Travato 59K in March 2018

I WANT A PC!!!!! Our rialta is sold! We're ready to buy. However, the brand new diesel 2350 is a bit more than we want to pay. I am desperate. Help me find something a year or two old. Thanks in advance.
Well, never mind. Earl found one and it's a beauty. Had a couple of mods and will pick it up 8/19 - 2 days before my birthday. That's the nicest present I e ever received.

Thanks Carol, Barry and Sue, Ron and Tom...I will take some inside photos after I get the PC home and get the current mess cleaned up. With all the bins and coolers I had to bring with stuff for one week of camping, it looks like moving day at the circus right now. I left Indiana this morning and am camping just north of Nashville tonight, not quite half way home. So far the E-450 is running like a champ. Plan to leave at dawn and hope to pull in my driveway before dark.
Just realized that I possibly should have posted the photos in the "photos" section, instead of the "introduce yourself". Should I ask Aimee to move them, I wonder?

We bought our 2350 on the 19th of august, 2 days before my birthday. We spent the rest of the week in the leelanau penninsula of Michigan. It was perfect. Well, until I tore the little piece on the couch. I guess you need to make sure that little flap is on the outside before you open the couch. Good part is - we're still married.
I love it! I love it!!!
