Here is another choice.

I find "BREAK FREE CLP" works great on everything.  It is available at Wal-Mart in the sporting goods department.  It works without attracting dirt and grime.

Here is a link to their website.

Really jumping this thread now!  When it comes to the rubber seals around the slide and old RV guy told me years ago that the best product to use to keep the seals fresh and as slippery as possible it Johnson's baby powder; I have used it faithfully and I must say it does seem to work very well.  Every couple of months just lightly shake some around the seals and that is it....cheap as well.

As lmichael says, use a dry lube, and be careful on the drive screw under the slide --- I used white lithium grease on the old unit, and it spotted the rug when the slide retracted - just a word of caution.  I've been using Break Free on the step.

Semper Fi, Bob!!! Hope all is well with you guys--- Btw, dw decided she doesn't care about the drop down dinette table (not much length for a bed) so we won't be going to Elkhart --- If you change yours, let me know how Kermit did it, and how you like it..

Yes Jack, there's not much length to sleep unless for a child or legless midget. If I do anything with it I'll do it at home and order or make a filler for the middle section.

But that's no reason not to come north a bit and stay with us for a few days here in vacationland.

Safe travels.

Hey Jack.

I'll be doing the same over the next few days to put her up for the winter :'(

We're planning on our Alaska trip starting in May but getting ready to hibernate for a while in a land of snow and ice.

As for the table; when our grand-daughter gets old enough I might cut the width of the table down, use the cut-offs for braces on the seat bottoms and make a cushion to fit. It'll only make for a short bed but should work for a kid.

Stay in touch (rmmpe@yahoo.com)

Safe travels & Semper Fi.
