I plan on another electric receptacle around the corner of the bed, a little easier to reach then at the bottom of the bed. If I an go up thru the wall at the end of bed I will also see about adding some Rope Lights across the top of the slide. They make for easy lighting to watch TV.

And we continue. Replaced the plug under the bed and from their wired to set up for another plug, above that a switch for the rope lights above the switch. Plan on hard wiring the rope lights. The plugs, they are great, strip the wire, push it in and tighten. Don't have to wrap the wire around the screw. I always add a small piece of wood top and bottom where a plug will go, especially on the thin walls.

Here it is finished, the new plug at the bottom, the switch in the middle, the conjunction box for the rope lights and the rope lights. The rope light make it very easy to watch TV, no light's reflecting in the TV

rope light give off a softer light then the fluorescence. plus there is no reflection in the tv. best i can do
