My DW & I are interested in the 2552 model. With slide or with out? With slide, 97 percent of motorhomes sold have a slide., If you ever want to sell or trade in the PC, the slide will pay for itself, in the mean time you get a lot more room. Some people don't think you should get a slide because the dinette is a few inches smaller in the slide and the slide adds about 200 lbs. Most who order a non-slide end up trading it in for a slide model. Call an ask Stuart. After looking at lots of pictures I have a few questions for the members with this model. When sitting at the dinette or the extra chair, does the TV cause you to tip your head back? Yes, but until they come up with a mount that will lower the TV, there is not much that can be done about it. The euro chair can be moved back so the angle is not as great if you have the slide. We got ours with the sofa because it is more comfortable for sitting on than the dinette and we then bought TV snack tables to eat off of instead of the large table Phoenix gives you. Works for us.Would the viewing angle be better if it was lower? Yes but it would be real hard to see out the windshield. If slide out is out can you still view the TV from the dinette? Only the seat facing forward, not the seat facing rearward. On the sofa you can see the TV from the rear seat and if you lean forward a little from the front seat.Do the outside mirrors fold flat against the cruiser? (I have a tight parking area) Yes. All the PC built on the Ford are the same. The 2552 comes on the Ford E-450.
Another suggestion - Don't limit yourself with the existing floor plans. Phoenix Cruiser is very willing to work with the customer to give them what they want. Check out what George and Judi designed for themselves http://www.phoenixusarv.com/community/index.php/topic,434.0.html.......everyone is different, everyones needs are different and you need to consider what is going to work best for you.
