Just closed the deal with Stuart to trade my 2010 2551S for a new 3100!  If anyone is looking for a pefect inside and out 2551S with 13,000 mile on it this is your coach.  She is completely loaded with full paint (umber) dual pain windows, jacks, air sofa and premium package.  Had the Tom-Tom nav. sysytem but hated it and had the Sony rear camera  system installed at the factory.  No major issues with either the coach or chassis.  The 3100 is coming out of the paint shop this week so I am guessing I will have the new coach sometime over the first week of May and the 2551 will be heading back to IN.  Give Stuart a call if you have been waiting for a nice 2551S.  Thanks

ragoodsp, we have a 3100.  Best floor plan for us after having a 2900. Love the combo sofa and dinette, only one slide, the wall of cabinets behind the passenger seat, room for a recliner, and the extra outside storage compartment under the slide (we keep electric and water hookups there for easy hook up). Youll love it.

We had Kraig deliver our 2551 to Tampa. Very smooth transaction once the correct airport parking lot location was established! We were expectantly waiting for our new arrival at the Clearwater/St. Pete Airport and he was at Tampa International. Thank Goodness they are only about 10 miles  away from each other. LOL

We are very excited about the 3100 coming.  Having come down from 38' the 2551 was super coach but just a little "short" in few key areas; the 3100 should be perfect for what we want.  How does the 218" wheelbase mangae towing a four down toad?  Is the ride betterthan say your 2900?  Thanks

Yes, the ride with the longer wheelbase is better. I know the turning radius is longer but havent really noticed it. Tows great. We have a Chevy HHR and dont really notice it except when hitting a bump maybe. We have a Brake Buddy to assist in braking, although it rarely comes on with careful driving. Saved our bacon once though: at a Flying J, a four-wheeler came barreling between RVs in the RV parking area; panic stop!

Just got back from a trip to Washington, D.C. Everything went great. Handled the mountains of WV just fine.  Planning a 32 day trip on the Great River Road this fall, Bemidji, MN to New Orleans. Then next spring, 41 days: Pensacola, FL around the Gulf to Key West, up the east coast through St. Augustine, Savannah, Charleston, Ashville ending in Stone Mountain, GA. And then next fall, a 49 day Canadian Maritimes trip: New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland, and Labrador.  We love these caravans, and I know we have some envious people traveling with us in their big Class As and triple axel 5th wheels. Grin  It'd be cool to have another PC along.

Gophoenix:

Sure sounds like you have your near future planned out!!!  I would love to come along with you since everyone of your trips sound very interesting to say the least.  I am afraid I have a few more years before I can hit the road for extended periods of time.  In the mean time I will keep dreaming and in spirit riding along with you.  Looks like Kraig will be delivering the 3100 here to NH tomorrow!   Thanks

The new baby (3100) arrived here in NH this AM safe and sound with the help of Kraig Fisher!  The cafe color is absolutely beautiful!  Have alot to do to get her packed up and so many more places to put stuff.  It is always sad to see the old coach go out the driveway for the last time but it is going to new owners in PA and I know they are getting one super clean well maintained 2010 2551S and hopefully we will see them posting up on this forum.   Thanks

ragoodsp - Congrats on the new 3100.  The new colors are beautiful.  Now all the fun begins in organizing it and traveling around.  Enjoy!!
