My 2010 Sprinter 2400 had flaking couches
and driver and passenger seats a couple of
years ago.

PC redid them, but now all wall trim made
from the fake leather/vinyl has begun
flaking, too!

My brother just got a new little Winnebago
with the little Chrysler engine.
Lots of cool features.  I love my PC, but
would have liked some of its interior
features.  😀

General Discussion / Re: Diamond Shield

I have a 2010 2400 Sprinter, that has
discolored and mildewed Diamond Shield.
The rv looks dirty even after a bath.
Diamond Shield will remove and replace it
with a newer product-- at a cost--at
certain service locations.

If your PC is past their 3 year warranty and
the film is discolored, you may want to
contact them.

My PC lives in Florida.  It is under a carport,
but it is not a dry climate here. 😬

Hooray!!!!!   👏👏👏👏👏Thanks to all of you
who patiently and with great detail sought
to help me. Yes!! The pesky little black
switch was to the right and "around the
corner" from the starter button!

You folks are the best.

Once again--haha--as with home dvds,
I wonder why electronics buttons
are always painted black--and seem to
be in the shadows. 😂

Thanks to you helpful, caring folks we
can now be ready to travel.

Many thanks and PTL!!
LRS ( still learning about this cute PC)
         P.S. Enjoy reading the forum.😊

I was so excited to read and reread your
very clear and easy instructions!  Went out
to the rv to follow your directions--got the
bin door open--turned the two black Onan
cover handles--lowered the blue cover---
    but saw no switch.

Saw the start swirch like inside the coach,
but did not see another switch.

This is a propane generator.   Does that make
a difference?

I so appreciate all the suggestions!  😀

The generator is in an outside "bin" behind
a door.   After opening that door, I see no
switches on the Onan blue-ish generator
cover.  There is a handle on each end to remove
or lower the generator's cover fir service.
Behind the driver's seat on the wall is thr switch to turn on the
generatot.   Above that is a small "panel" that
reads : Xantrex "/Pro 1800.(I am presuming this is
for the converter (box is below fridge ).

I just ran the generator with the Xantrex button both on and off.

Neither the microwave or a/c turned "on" or
showed life...like whenever in shore power, the micriwave
immediately lights up.

Today is a holiday. 🇺🇸🎂
Cannot call factory or rv shop until tomorrow.

Thanks so much for any advice you can give.
Love this Forum!

(Sprinter/2010-- also waited 11 months for recalled airbag
inflator part to be available.😁)( Sprinter
 was in that mid
period when Mercedes made the engine, but
allowed Dodge Chrysler to make the chassis.)

Thank you for responding.   :)

The generator would turn on.

Once the generator was running, I tried turning on the A/C,  but it would not.

Then turned off the generator and plugged in to shore power and the A/C worked!

Would that happen if the switch you mentioned was off?

Well, the generator got serviced the other day.  Tried the air conditioner with generator on today..
..but the a/c did not come on. Panic.

Wanting to head out of town.   Will need the a/c on for the dog.

Hope someone has the magic trick that will work for this.

No one around the shop where it was taken due to holiday weekend.

Am a big believer in those Command Strips.  Wasglad when they came out with various strengths and water proof ones.  I, too, am leery to put holes in the walls --fearing hitting wires or having something pull out making a bigger hole.

Even put strong C-Strips on the bathroom door.   ☺️

Liked the IKEA seeing out bars.

I enjoy reading all the clever tips!

Tips and Tricks / Re: Rear view monitor position
« on: May 28, 2015, 10:01:57 am »
Glad you found a better position for the monitor. When our unit was new, it came mounted on the
ceiling, which felt really unsafe to crane the neck to look at it and eyes off the road!
took it to a local rv shop and gad it moved to eye level on left side of dash .
Wonderful!  Now all it takes is just shifting eyes to the left and back!
Was not a major operation---easy for them to do. Guess there was plenty of cord/ wire.
Just an idea that may help someone.

found a a free standing dowel type --then a metal one-- at a home decor store-- just secure when

General Discussion / Re: TOWING WITH OUR SPRINTER 2350
« on: May 27, 2015, 12:30:06 pm »
I tow a 2001 Honda CRV with a brake assist system behind the PC Sprinter 2400 (2010).
It is useful when "sitting" for a few days or more, but there is a difference in fuel savings when not towing.  I, like some others, am not motivated to unhook and secure things for a trip when not towing.
