Michelin has issued a recall on the tires that blew out back in May, 2013 on my PC 2700. This has been widely discussed as I see from current postings. I claimed directly to Michelin for the 50% that I paid in cash back in May. I was contacted by Lynn from Michelin, who apologized for the delay in replacing the other 5 tires and said I could purchase any manufacturers replacement tires. I have now changed to Firestone Transforce. Should you have any problems with getting your recalled tires replaced please call Lynn at (864)458-6309.
Hope this may help.

I had a tire blow out on Friday May 17th and 150 miles later a second tire blew. The treads separated from the casing in each case. Michelin will partly compensate on tread depth, 9/32nd., but not interested in checking the other five tires. The tires are original on the Ford chassis, now a 2011, PC 2700.
Have any other PC owners had these tire problems?

General Discussion / Looking for an RV site in the Chicago area.
« on: July 28, 2012, 03:13:00 pm »
We intend to travel to Chicago in late August to see friends in the Harbor/Navy Pier area, where there is no RV parking. So this "HELP' is for any Chicagoans (Ron Dittmer) who may have some local knowledge on where to park or store the PC.
Thanks in anticipation.

Hi PC enthusiasts, has anyone made or purchased captains chair seat covers?
I would be interested in details either way.

General Discussion / Satellite radio/WiFi 26"LCD TV
« on: February 21, 2011, 07:42:49 pm »
Hi Guys, I'm newbie Chris, well, new to Phoenix Cruiser RV's and our PC2700 has just been started and due to be finished end of April. My first question is "what is the standard radio on the Ford E-450 chassis and is it satellite compatible or do I have to purchase the in line box from Sirius?. I know I have to get an antenna and have found a bolt down marine version. Second question  - is the standard LCD 26" tv WiFi compatible for downloading Netflix movies or should it be replaced or add a Roku box?
Would appreciate constructive replies.
Chris & Monica.
