91  Main Forum / General Discussion / Emptying the grey and water tanks on: February 03, 2012, 04:59:48 pm
It seems that the meter never shows the tanks being less than 1/3 full. That is after the pump runs free and there is no more water being expelled, the meter shows 1/3 full.

I recognize it may be the meter, but am wondering if i ought to just put the 3.5 inch drain hose on and see if it wlll empty any more. Any other suggestions. Is there a way to see the tanks to make a visual inspection in both tanks?

Greg & Kathy Matthews from St. Petersburg, FL and Red Lodge MT.

We are moving from 28 years of sailing a 1980 Tartan 33 to a 26.5' Motor Home. It is a lot easier to drop anchor with a motor home than with a sloop.

We are busy planning our first summer with a trip to the Canadian Maritimes.

After much research and a lot of reading many posts on many RV forums we decided on a 2010 2551 that we purchased two weeks ago. We spent the weekend at the Tampa Show and nothing else that we wish we had purchased.

I have a rattle in my 2551 at the end of the upper unit that holds the DVD and adjacent to the door. It sounds like the antenna cable, which probably runs somewhere in that area to get to the DVD. I haven't been able to figure out where i can access any of the areas where the wiring is run to either see the source of the rattle or to fasten it down..

First has anyone had this problem, and what did you do?

Second, how do you get into these areas. For example, it seems that the DVD cannot be removed.

The magic that Kermit does is just befuddling me.
