We actually saw a similar case in Florida back in March...looked like it had been applied over dusty sand!

We have a 2007 2551, And the only part of the paint finish that looks bad is the "Diamond Shield" !

Copper Breaks State Park, North Texas, West of Dallas before you enter the panhandle.  As you drive along 287 you may notice four mounds rising from the plains to the South.  The largest is Medicine Mound, sacred to the Comanche.  The nearby settler town is now a ghost town.  There is a small museum there that can be seen if you contact its elderly caretaker (info available online--I didn't get that far).  The park itself is small and sweet.  Teepee shaped structures protect your site's picnic table from the evening sun.  Nice hikes.  Lake very low now due to drought.  Really nifty little place, though.
P.S. My PC drives like a dream and we are getting along quite nicely!

P.S. You can't actually get to Medicine Mound itself, as it is private property.  Copper Breaks State Park is about 10 miles away though and you can see the mounds clearly from many vantage points.  This is just another shot of the campground.
