2004 PC 2350 colors of the decals
« on: October 10, 2019, 10:22:29 pm »
Does anyone know the color names of the decals on the 2004 2350?
I want to touch up and/or paint to re-create the missing decals on my PC.
Thanks,
Stan

Hi Stan,

Call Carol at Phoenix.  She will have the exact answers you seek.  While on the phone with her, ask her what new decals would cost.  You never know....she just might have the right answer for that one.

The 2000-2006 style OEM decals were N/A when I tried to order them from Carol Simms at Phoenix almost 4 years ago. If you can work with an RV vinyl graphics shop to reproduce the  original layout  it's a  lot  cheaper and simpler than paint, but why not choose your own colors since they can't faithfully 100% reproduce  the original details and colors anyway.

Thanks, Calcruiser.
The links are helpful, too.
I'm thinking I may just either get close or go with complementary colors.

For anyone else looking, Carol gave me the colors I needed.

They are Oxford Blue and Glacier Blue (color code BASF 12822).

Thanks to Carol at Phoenix.

Good Looking ride!

That is a 2004 model 2350? Looks a lot bigger than my 2006 2350.  Like a few feet longer.  (WH)  Those stripes work wonders!

Nice 2551. Is that an E350?

It came from the factory like that, no decals on the furnace and water heater covers (possibly because they would get baked?).
A search for images of 2004 Phoenix Cruisers turns up quite a few (more than 2006), but they used the same decals.

The picture I posted above is from the 2004 Phoenix USA company website. It looks just like mine except for the faded decals on my PC.
It is a 2004 2350.

Nice find  2o2

Does it have 3 overhead cabinets in the front cap, or a cutout cab roof? I hung a 21 tv from the ps cabinet behind  the 3rd seat and put 2 huge sliding drawer type plastic bins in the original center tv cabinet behind the roll up door. I also appreciate the  locations of the furnace and fresh water tank that make the 03-04 models the 2350 storage champs.

A fresh new Monroe SC2955 steering stabilizer will be the best $35 and 20 minutes ever spent on your
Phoenix Cruiser. If you want to go any further with handling mods bolt on a Hellwig 7085  rear sway bar and thank Mr. Ron Dittmer.

The placement of the furnace and fresh water tank in our 2007 is like the earlier 2350s.  You are right in that makes them storage champs.  But it comes at a sacrifice to handling.

Every E350 chassis Ford made prior to 2008 never came with any kind of rear stabilizer bar.  If you have one in back, it was added after the fact.  So if you own a 2007 or older E350 chassis, look underneath in back.  If you don't have one, you will surely want to get one.  A rear heavy duty Helwig does wonders.

And as for the wimpy poorly designed front stabilizer bar of the same era (with end grommets) is concerned, replacing that one with a heavy duty Helwig makes another big improvement in handling.  If you do nothing else but those two changes, you will have covered much.

When your current shocks get tired and worn, replace them with heavy duty Bilstein shocks and then you made another significant improvement.

The E350 chassis was used for the shortest PC models which by design have poor ratios of wheel base to over-all length.  The suspension upgrades I mentioned combat that condition fairly well.

It seems model 2552 with the E450 chassis has the ideal aspect ratio.  With the improved OEM Ford stabilizer bars introduced in 2008, handling issues are minimal by comparison to unmodified 2007 and older E350 PCs.

Good Looking Ride!  I like the brushbar up front. Bet it makes the others move over!  Any chance of a 'head on' pic?  tymote

And as usual, the topic drifts.  :lol  I am a lone voice here, and on nice Florida roads, so PLEASE take my comments with that caveat.
You can put a whole bunch of band-aids on the chassis and improve its handling.  I did an engineered approach, and determined the front end was too high and 'over sprung'.  Scroll down to the bottom of this link for the latest.  https://www.phoenixusarv.com/community/index.php?topic=3714.45;last_msg=32993
